What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at The Mettle Grill?
Successful hosts/hostesses will be friendly and ready to greet guests. Hosts are responsible for being the first face of the restaurant to greet and seat guests. Host responsibilities may be interacting with guests, managing the intake flow of guests, finding appropriate seating for guest needs, light bussing and resetting tables, opening and closing duties, answering phones and taking to go orders. Hosts will benefit from any to go tips received, as well as an employee discount on food.
With this position, there is flexible scheduling and opportunity for advancement. A willingness to learn and evolve with specials and menu changes is desired. Attention to personal hygiene and appearance is required.
Food handlers permit required. State and city alcohol permits required for 19 years old.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
