Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading various types of freight, ensuring accurate and timely inventory control. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely load and unload all types of freight.
Ensure accurate and timely inventory control.
Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED.

2-3 years of experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or distribution environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move items by hand or machine.

Capability to work on your feet for extended periods in a warehouse setting.

Strong ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Additional Information :

Pay : $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Shift : 1st and 2nd shift available

Work Environment : This role requires working in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
