About the role
The Micar Company is currently seeking experienced candidates in the construction industry to join our team as a Sheet Metal Fabricator. This position operates within our shop facility. Our team is currently working 6:00am-4:30pm M-TH, Fridays as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Must be able to run a burn table and be able to weld sheet metal.
- Must know how to read and interpret blueprints sketches or product specifications.
- Must know types of hand tools, measuring tools, cutting tools, bending and forming machines.
- Ability to fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal.
- Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work.
- Ability to complete projects with accuracy and precision.
Job Requirements
- Maintain all safety standards.
- 1 years related work experience.
- Knowledge of sheet metal tools and equipment.
- Possess a strong work ethic.
- Heavy lifting required.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues.
