Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from ABET accredited institution or equivalent body structures automotive experience is required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years of expertise in automotive Body Structures systems and sub-systems at OEM or supplier desired
- Experience with structural load path planning and solving complicated packaging problems
- Proficiency with 3D CAD skills, CATIA V5/V6 or similar software
- A strong understanding of analysis tools such as ANSYS, OptiStruct, MatLab, ADAMS, etc.
- Proof of excellence in past positions while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical design problems
