Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to develop harness routing strategies and packaging designs.
- Conduct stress, torque, and tolerance analyses through hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Design and develop harnesses for various applications.
- Engage with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions and procure prototype parts.
- Travel to supplier sites as needed.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of designing harnesses and electrical systems. You should also be proficient in Dassault 3D Experience for geometric surface and part design.
