POSITION SUMMARY
Manage commercial insurance programs such as general liability, property, business auto, workers comp, professional liability, Cyber, etc.

Essential Functions Statement(s):
- Prepare proposals for all lines of coverage associated with Commercial Lines new and renewal directly as agent or in assistance with Producer.
- Manage 200k book of business (revenue)
- Serve accounts with 30k-200k in premiums.
- Work with carriers such as Auto Owners, Erie, Travelers, Chubb, CNA, Philadelphia, etc.
- Work Applied EPIC or other online manage systems
- Obtain all necessary information to complete applications.
- Follow procedures to write a minimum of two lines of business for each client.
- Know the underwriting and rating procedures for each company. Provide companies with any information requested in a timely manner.
- Advise clients on additional exposures and suggest insurance needs annually at renewal.
- Assist agency with collections of premiums and proper recording in EPIC system.
- Process daily mail for assigned accounts.
- Process cancellations and endorsements as requested.
- Complete and submit change requests on company websites or on company system.
- Process telephone requests for assigned accounts.
- Accurately document all conversations, changes, revisions, etc. necessary in EPIC for prevention of errors and omissions claim.
- Review Company produced policies and endorsements for accuracy.
- Keep Producers informed of activity of insured as warranted.
- Process claim reports and system claims information as required. Assist clients and claimants in whatever it takes to settle their claim.
- Assist other Account Manager's as needed.
- Review all applications, renewal requests and endorsements for compliance with agency guidelines. Re-underwriting is a daily task and should be done continuously.
- Maintain a current level of knowledge on rates, forms and coverage changes that apply to your division.
- Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development.
- Review non-standard policies annually for eligibility for standard policy type.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience: One to two years related COMMERCIAL INSURANCE experience
Computer Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and have the ability to learn other computer programs quickly, Applied EPIC experience preferred.
