What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Picker/Inventory Clerk position at The Middleby Corporation?
The Order Picker/Inventory Clerk will pick orders from pick sheets to make ready for packaging and shipping. Pickers accurately count inventory items as they are picked to maintain proper inventory counts. They are also responsible for accurate cycle counting of stockroom items. Pickers will also put accurately put received items away into designate locations.

- Should possess strong organizational and directorial skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively.
- Must manage the details of each assignment completely
- The understanding and aptitude to work with computer inventory programs and software.
- Self motivated/able to work independently
- Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and waste.
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma/GED.
- 1-3 Years' experience in a distribution center environment.
- Experience working with manufacturing based technology, processes and principles is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Must be detail oriented
