This position requires a strong understanding of HCSS software and experience in managing complex projects. You will be responsible for directing estimators, preparing pre-bid schedules, and selecting subcontractors and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement estimation strategies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Chief Estimator to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of labor rates, bond rates, and other job-specific information.
- Lead Project Turnover Meetings for new projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or construction-related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex highway, piling, bridge, and marine construction.
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory estimating position working on projects valued over $50 million.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
