Part-Time Security Position – The Mill Lakeside Manor
The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake Heights, NJ, is looking for a part-time Security Person with law enforcement experience to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a great personality, strong presence, and excellent guest service skills.
About the Role:
Our security team plays a unique and important role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and controlled environment inside and outside the venue. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Helping enforce ABC regulations and maintaining guest control
- Assisting valet, coat check, and management as needed
- Ensuring vendors follow all venue rules and procedures
- Supporting a smooth and enjoyable experience for all couples and guests
- Helping ensure guests are having a great time while maintaining a safe environment
Our weddings take place year-round, Thursday through Sunday, typically from 4 PM – 12 AM. A flexible schedule is available, and firearms are not required. This is an enjoyable role that rarely involves conflict and has the full support of local law enforcement and management.
Qualifications:
- A great personality and strong guest service skills are a must!
- Reliable, responsible, and always punctual
- A team player with a professional attitude
- Prior law enforcement experience required
- Ability to manage and oversee one other security team member
- Well-groomed with a strong physical presence
