The Miners State Bank is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Part-Time Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will be the face of our bank, providing exceptional service and support to our valued customers. You will perform a variety of transactions and assist customers with their banking needs, contributing to the overall success and community-focused mission of our branch. May need to travel to South Range or Ripley branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming environment. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information on bank products and services.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately handle financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and currency exchange. Ensure all transactions are conducted with precision and in accordance with bank policies.
- Account Maintenance: Assist customers with managing their accounts. Provide guidance on using online banking services and other digital tools.
- Security and Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain security protocols to protect customer information and prevent fraud.
- Cross-Selling: Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate bank products or services that meet their financial goals.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow team members to achieve branch objectives and provide support as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage customer relationships effectively
- Competence in using financial software and cash registers
