Job Description
The maintenance independent contractor must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel to our four properties in Charlotte, NC. While working on jobs he or she is expected to demonstrate a positive attitude. The maintenance independent contractor is expected to keep an organized, orderly supply room and manage the following key aspects of property maintenance (this list is representative, not exhaustive):
- Clean vacant units
- Wire and mount camera and networking equipment
- Maintain golf carts, gates operators and keypads, and other equipment
- Minor office work including painting, plumbing, and carpentry where needed
- Perform light inspections and replace light bulbs and ballasts as needed
- Monitor maintenance supply inventory for re-ordering and keep stock organized in supply rooms
- Pick up trash around property
- Pressure washing
- Inspect, clean, and replace signage
- Inspect PTAC and HVAC units. Clean and replace filters
- Clean and mop hallways
- Cut and grind locks
- Transport supplies among the Charlotte locations
The maintenance independent contractor must be licensed and insured.
Our standard office hours are:
- M-F: 8:30am - 5:30pm
- Sat: 8:30am - 3pm
- Sun: Closed
The maintenance independent contractor position pay range is from $20/hr to $30/hr depending on skill level and experience.
