Job Description
We are seeking an organized and efficient Part Time Self Storage Manager to join our team in Charlotte NC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our self-storage facility, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and secure environment for our clients' belongings. Saturday's plus 2 weekdays (22-23 hrs. week).
- Manage facility operations, including renting storage units, processing payments, maintaining accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, security, and maintenance standards are met
- Perform light maintenance tasks and coordinate with vendors for more complex repairs
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Generate and analyze reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or retail management
- Experience in the self-storage industry is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and property management software
- Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to work multiple locations in Charlotte.
- Flexibility to work Saturday's and some holidays as needed
