Job Summary:
The Banquet Server provides exceptional food and beverage service to Club Members and guests during a variety of events, ranging from intimate dinner parties and golf tournaments to large-scale weddings. This role ensures a seamless dining experience by delivering attentive, professional service in a fast-paced event setting.
Essential Duties/Functions:
- Greet members and guests with a positive attitude.
- Responsible for completing detailed opening and closing duties.
- Ability to read and understand banquet function sheets.
- Prepare event spaces by covering tables, arranging silverware, glassware, and other dining essentials.
- Serve plated meals, buffet-style dishes, or passed appetizers efficiently and courteously.
- Clear empty plates, refill drinks, and ensure tables are clean and organized.
- Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and event coordinators to ensure smooth service.
- Be prepared to adapt to changing circumstances, such as last minute guest count changes or unexpected requests.
- Other duties as needed by the business.
- Handle any Member and guest concerns or issues that arise during the event with professionalism and tact.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of restaurant etiquette.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to work outside in the summer months.

Pay Rate:
- $17- $26 per hour depending on experience.
