Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for maintaining the bar, taking drink orders for our members and guests, and assisting the Food and Beverage Management team as directed.
Essential Duties/Functions:
- Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to order.
- Prepare drinks for food servers and serve directly to members and guests.
- May be required to serve meals, bus or set tables if necessary.
- Responsible for maintaining the bar area in clean/sanitary condition and keeping it stocked of glassware, product, and garnishes.
- Maintain and clean bar equipment daily and as directed. (espresso machine, blender, etc)
- Report any broken or damaged equipment to the Bar Manager or the Manger on Duty.
- Adhere to local and national liquor laws.
- Assist Bar Manager in taking inventory.
- Responsible for securing bar and cash bank at beginning and end of shift for next scheduled bartender.
- Other duties as needed by the business.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have great customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food, wine and service etiquette.
- Ability to mix all types of alcoholic drinks and know the proper procedures for handling and serving mixed drinks.
- Be able to work quickly and methodically in fast-paced environments.
Education and Experience:
- 1-2 years of Bartending experience (preferred).
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to work outside in the summer months.

Pay Rate:
- $27-$31 an hour depending on experience.
