Located minutes from downtown Minneapolis, MN, The Minikahda Club was founded in 1898, It is the oldest country club west of the Mississippi and a premier club in the region. Job Summary:

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to Club Members and guests, ensuring a high-quality dining experience in a welcoming and professional environment.

Essential Duties/Functions:

• Warmly greet Members and guests upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service.
• Accurately take food and drink orders for members.
• Assist with the tidying of tables, clearing and keeping the dining area clean.
• Deliver drinks to tables.
• Knowledge of current menus and bi-weekly specials with the ability to make recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members, such as kitchen staff, bartenders, host, and wait assists, to provide a seamless dining experience.
• Follow established Club service standards.
• Handle Member feedback and resolve any issues of concern professionally and promptly.
• Proficient use of the Club’s POS system.
• Deliver a memorable dining experience.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of restaurant etiquette.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work outside in the summer months.

Club Benefits:

• Daily meal
• Monday access to golf, the pool, and tennis.

Pay Rate:

• $23- $30 per hour depending on experience.
• Non-tipping club.
