JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consistently deliver an exceptional guest experience throughout the shift.
- Anticipates guest needs and is intentional in establishing a rapport with all guests.
- Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers food and beverage orders in a timely and friendly manner.
- Maintain knowledge and terminology of beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Handles cash and credit card transactions associated with food and beverage sales, accurately and efficiently. Provide appropriate change to guests.
- Ensure receipt of accurate payments, balance cash drawer during shift, and maintain security and accuracy of bank.
- Knowledgeable of the membership benefits of the player’s loyalty program and the importance of the guest playing with their card.
- Capable of answering guest inquiries about all aspects of the player’s loyalty program.
- Initiates, and accurately verifies all jackpot payouts.
- Perform currency exchanges and other cash transactions with the highest attention to detail.
- Maintain bank balance and safeguards cage assets.
- Maintains accurate handling of guest and company funds by processing all transactions and documentation in accordance with all regulations, company, and department policies and procedures.
- Promptly answers any calls for assistance from guests and fellow team members.
- Addresses all floor disputes and complaints in a diplomatic and professional manner and refers any unsettled disputes to manager.
- Maintains cleanliness of the building by performance housekeeping tasks including but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, clearing empty cups, trash, ash trays, and refilling hand sanitizer, toilet paper, paper towels.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.
- The ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- To provide BIG Service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain required work cards, and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass any and all required background checks.
