We are looking to hire a part-time Kids Ministry Director. This role is critical to help our kids thrive and grow like never before!

You Are:

• A person who loves kids of all ages and wants to unleash the beauty of God written on their hearts.
• A person with strong classroom management skills
• Available on Sunday mornings
• A person who exhibits the following character and quality traits: fun!!!, self-starter, relationship builder, good communicator, high capacity, “whatever it takes” attitude, highly organized, dependable, confidential, servant heart, attention to detail, good instincts in decision-making, personable, team player.
• “All in” with Jesus and “all in” with our church (culture and chemistry).
• One who embraces a theology that is both “evangelical” and “charismatic” while avoiding the excesses of either aspect.
• A person who has effectively led kids ministry at another church for several years.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in leadership and leading volunteers.
• Feeling a calling by God to serve in this role (this is not just a paycheck for you!).
• A member of our church. Your spiritual health and growth matter to us! So you will regularly attend church in the sanctuary to get filled up.

You Will Be:

• Functioning an integral part of our church and its Leadership Team.
• The “go to” person on Sunday mornings for all things Mission Kids
• Engaging with volunteers, parents and children on Sunday mornings before & after church.
• Creating a sustainable volunteer culture through recruiting, training, connecting, and scheduling.
• Overseeing the “check in” experience. So first-time attendees as well as veterans of our ministry have the most positive first impression possible each and every Sunday.
• Championing of curriculum and content in all Kids classrooms from birth thru 6th grade (we currently use the HYFI curriculum).
• Integral in keeping Kids Ministry on the radar of our existing church family as well as for newcomers who may not even know we have a Kids Ministry!
• Planning several special events for kids throughout the year

Compensation
The compensation for this part-time position (10-15 hours per week) is competitive and negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and an agreed upon scope of roles and responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
