The Mission Inn Hotel and Spa is a AAA Four Diamond hotel destination in Riverside, CA, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Finance Director to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to join the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa as the Director of Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic guidance on fiscal matters, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage the organization's fiscal activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Lead the annual audit process and ensure timely and accurate completion of financial statements
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and manage budgets for various projects and initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to department heads on financial matters
  • Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position
  • Strong knowledge of fiscal management principles and practices
  • Experience in investment management and treasury functions
  • Proficiency in technical accounting standards, including GAAP
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting principles
  • Ability to interpret financial reports and provide meaningful insights to senior management
  • Previous experience in public accounting is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
