Food Truck Operator/Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food Truck Manager to oversee our mobile food operation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of food preparation, safety standards, and time management to ensure smooth daily operations while delivering high-quality meals to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the food truck, including staff supervision and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
• Train new staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service practices.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience is essential, with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
• Experience in grocery store settings or similar roles will be considered an asset.
