Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the food truck, including staff supervision and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
- Train new staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service experience is essential, with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
- Experience in grocery store settings or similar roles will be considered an asset.
