Insurance Specialist - Customer Service

The ideal candidate will be able to identify and address the needs of both new and existing customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure client satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, technological proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal team members to resolve customer issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a client-first approach, be highly organized, self-motivated, and open to obtaining an insurance license if not already licensed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally within the agency to collaborate with team members and ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with customers to address inquiries, process policy changes, and resolve issues.
  • Manage client accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping and proactive communication about renewals, updates, and claims.
  • Utilize agency tools and systems (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Outlook, CRM software) to track and report on client interactions and account health.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong phone communication skills with a professional and client-focused demeanor.
  • Technologically savvy, with experience using Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to collaborate as a team member to support agency goals and deliver outstanding service.
  • Willingness to obtain an insurance license (if not already licensed).
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
