Department Summary :
The Advanced Capabilities Department (N162) within the Integrated All-Domain Effects Division (N160) in MITRE's Air and Space Forces Center focuses on developing and enabling capabilities to counter peer adversaries and enable the US to project power and operate within highly contested environments. N162 is seeking a Software Engineer who wants to deliver innovative solutions to unique national challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional team of engineers, to define and deliver cutting-edge software prototypes.
- Explore new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to improve mission success.
- Push the boundaries of existing systems to create innovative solutions that address complex challenges.
- Develop systems to explore new concepts, validate ideas, and gather operator feedback.
- Ensure that software is functional, reliable, and demonstrable for evaluation by sponsors and operators.
