What are the responsibilities and job description for the TERO Administrator, Mohegan Tribal Employment Rights position at The Mohegan Tribe of Indians Of Connecticut?
Summary of Position:
Incumbent investigates complaints and potential violations of the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). Monitors contractor compliance with TERO provisions, manages the annual reporting process and performs other related duties as assigned. Incumbent also serves as the Tribe’s Employment Code Compliance Officer and Labor Relations Administrator.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with situations requiring conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to review and interpret laws, ordinances, contracts and reports

- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience requiring legal/policy interpretation, investigation and analytical reasoning
~OR~
- High School Diploma and five (5) years of professional work experience requiring legal/policy interpretation, investigation and analytical reasoning
