The Moline Kids Campus is looking for a preschool Director to manage day to day operations to ensure quality throughout the center. Leadership and communication skills as well as organizational and business oriented are a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
—-A minimum of an associates degree in child development or early childhood education. OR
—-64 semester hours in any discipline with a minimum of 21 hours of college credit in Child development, Early childhood education or Early childhood special education.
AND ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
—-Gateways to Opportunity Level One Illinois Directors Credential
—-three semester hours of college credit in administration, leadership or management
—-three points of credential- approved training in administration, leadership or management
—-knowledge of Accelerate Illinois is beneficial
Summary
As the Preschool Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will utilize your core skills in management, education administration, and leadership to guide staff and implement effective programs. Your premium skills in strategic planning and budgeting will be essential in meeting business requirements and optimizing resources. With a focus on early childhood education, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the preschool, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance early childhood education programs.
- Manage budgeting and resource allocation to meet business requirements effectively.
