Our Customer is seeking a highly skilled contract EWM Business Systems Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote/week) in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design & solutioning for SAP S/4 HANA EWM ( Decentralized system & Embedded system ) and integration with ERP, TMS and other
- ERP modules.
- Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of application systems and industry requirements.
- Analyzes business and user needs and follows through the full development life cycle.
- Defines, tests, trains, implements, and supports one or more functional areas within the EWM System
- Solves highly complex problems within their work team.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences.
- Provide end-user training and support.
- Develop and execute test plans for SAP EWM configurations.
- Create reports for monitoring warehouse metrics
- Requires 5 years of experience in configuring, deploying and managing EWM solutions with minimum of 2 end to end implementations on SAP S/4
- HANA EWM
- Should have worked in a high volume distribution centers handling diversified products ( Batch and Serialized )
- Possess solid knowledge in SAP EWM Mater Data integrations, Inbound, Outbound and Internal Movements warehouse
- Experience integrating with shop floor orders and kitting orders.
- Hands on experience in configuring different features in SAP EWM listed below:
- Complex Storage Types, put away and Stock removal strategies configuration using BADI or custom solutions as applicable.
- Handling unit management for Inbound, internal movements and outbound processes
- Palletization, consolidation, deconsolidation using Handling Unit
- Wave Management including Wave templates
- Inbound and Outbound activities using optimized Warehouse order creation rules.
- Internal warehouse processes such as Replenishment, Cycle Counting, Physical Inventory and warehouse reorganization.
- Cross process settings, exception handling using custom solutions where applicable
- Post Processing Framework for standard and custom definitions
- Queue/Task Management on regular basis.
- RF mobile data entry, custom RF transactions on ITS mobile environment
- Having knowledge in other areas of EWM such as Slotting, Resource Management and Cross Docking.
- Experience integrating QIE to integrate SAP QM with SAP EWM inspection
- Worked in Cartonization and developing custom algorithm to optimize packing process.
- Good experience in managing master data includes Packaging specifications, Product Master, Bin Master etc..,
- Having knowledge in EWM Integration with ECC Logistics Execution and Inventory Management
- Good Understanding of ABAP Development, Debugging, custom objects such as BADI, functional modules, ALV Reports etc.
- Candidate should have experience working with business to understand their requirements and propose system solutions using Standard / custom SAP EWM capabilities.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
- Preferred to have TMS Integration knowledge.
