Our Customer is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable contract Communications Specialist to help support their business needs. The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing. This role is onsite in Redmond, WA.

Our Customer is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable contract Communications Specialist to help support their business needs. The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing. This role is onsite in Redmond, WA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive communication content: Follow and help implement an editorial calendar with the Communications Manager and members of the Operations team. Produce compelling content for an internal employee audience both within the division and throughout the wider community. Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as an internal website, workplace posts, product descriptions, videos, and blogs.
- Manage critical communication systems and processes: Manage the review processes for publication. Create forms and surveys. Create and manage tasks, surveys, automated forms, dynamic email groups, etc. across a variety of tools and systems. Map processes and identify opportunities for efficiencies. Develop processes and templates as needed. Update website templates.
- Event management support: Support the development and delivery of key strategic events such as conferences, All Hands, and symposia.
- Bachelor’s degree in communication and Certifications in AI, robotics and software development (Not really needed but added advantage)
- 2 - 4 years of experience
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Basic knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
- Strong writing skills (Technical, compelling story)
- Can understand, map and update technical processes
- Good understanding of audience sentiments

- Graphic Design experience
- Program or project management
- Experience with go to market strategy preferred
- Experience in running conferences or any big events preferred
