Our Customer is seeking a highly skilled contract Data Analytics/Business Intelligence - Architect to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (2 days onsite and 3 days remote in Sunnyvale, CA)
Primary Function
Seeking an Data Analytics/Business Intelligence - Architect to support global marketing and sales enablement teams by leveraging data analytics and AI. This role will design, develop, and mature analytical capabilities, ensuring data structures and technologies align with business needs. The ideal candidate will drive actionable insights, optimize processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable analytics tools, KPI dashboards, and data products to enhance business insights.
- Design and implement data quality processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with data engineering, IT, and business teams to architect analytical solutions.
- Use predictive modeling and statistical methods to optimize customer experiences and business outcomes.
- Lead data governance efforts and improve master data integrity.
- Apply analytical concepts and statistical techniques, including hypothesis development, test/experiment design, data analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Work with business system requirements to build tailored solutions.
- Gather and document business requirements, using BI tools to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (engineering, mathematics, computer science, etc.).
- 5 years in data analytics, data science, or software development, with expertise in SQL, data warehousing, databases (PL/SQL, MDX) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx).
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and agile methodologies is a plus.
- Experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business teams.
- Experience working with business system requirements and building solutions.
- Experience gathering/documenting business requirements, using industry-standard business intelligence tools to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
