A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract District Sales Manager to help support their business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (3 days onsite and 2 days remote/week) in Westlake Village, CA.
This professional has the responsibility to manage and engage the dealers by contacting and working with them. It means utilizing remote communication software (Microsoft Teams) to conduct proactive meetings with dealers to assist them in the sale of our products and services.
They may be involved in various initiatives including developing and implementing marketing initiatives, inventory management, customer retention, and training. All to ensure that the dealers understand and succeed in selling products to the final customer.
A day in the life of a District Sales Manager (DSM) is very fast paced, and no two days will be the same. To succeed in this position, you must like to connect and influence people, but also be able to manage your time properly.

Reponsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the company, its dealerships, and additiona Partners
- Grow and foster partnerships
- Facilitate mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly/yearly sales objectives are met
- Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) or other customer feedback resources to identify and
- address deficiencies or opportunities
- Monitor Dealership personnel training and ensure compliance with company requirements/objectives
- Assist with Dealership inventory management, including vehicle and or parts ordering and inventory
- stabilizing
- Analyze Dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities
- Increase sales of company vehicles and Accessory parts to its customers
- Assist in customer problem resolution
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience in the automotive industry in lieu of a degree.
- 2 years in sales and customer service (required)
- Able to perform well in a hybrid office environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings/events
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis
- Ability to establish Relationships through partnership – this is your day-to-day routine
