Sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery calls and respond to incoming leads.
- Maintain contact database for lead generation activities, including proactive outreach and email campaigns.
- Attend in-home sales consultations per week; may be accompanied by the owner initially.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and scopes of work.
- Estimate construction costs, procure trade partner quotes, and coordinate partner walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with designers and draftspeople for project planning.
- Attend weekly networking events.
- Initiate outreach to architects, designers, and industry professionals to build and sustain business relationships.
- Scan residences to create as-built drawings for remodeling projects.
- Develop and present proposed floor plans and elevations.
- Collaborate with clients on selections, ensuring alignment with project allowances.
- Work with local vendors and showrooms to arrange client meetings and assist with selection approvals.
- Prefer experience with chief architect CAD software
- Track and document all client selections.
- Accompany clients to showroom visits as needed.
- Prepare allowance reconciliations and obtain client approvals.
- Manage material purchasing and ensure on-time delivery for project milestones.
- Develop and manage content for social media profiles; maintain consistent brand messaging.
- Prepare and distribute a monthly newsletter to engage clients and industry partners.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Organize and coordinate project photo shoots annually.
- Write post-project summaries and upload them to the website or work with web developers for updates.
- Support postcard mailing campaigns to target neighborhoods.
- Purchase and deliver client gifts as part of our customer appreciation program.
- Prepare and submit applications for industry awards.
- 5-10 years of experience in design, remodeling, or sales roles (design degree preferred).
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Consultative sales approach, ideally with experience in design or home improvement.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to build strong client and partner relationships.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and basic estimating practices.
- Resides within one of the eight towns the client serves (preferred).
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings for events or client meetings as needed.
