The Mom Project is excited to partner with Orrick in their search for a Workflow Specialist. This position is hybrid and could be based in any of their California, Oregon or Washington state offices.
The Objective
As a Workflow Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the intake and distribution of requests within the Business Development (BD) department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that requests are efficiently directed to the appropriate team members, optimizing workflow and maintaining a high standard of service.

Responsibilities
Monitor and Assign Requests
- Oversee the BD Workflow Intake system and assign new requests to the appropriate team members.
- Engage with requesters to gain a deeper understanding of their needs before directing them to the right BD team member.
- Monitor deadlines and follow up with BD team members as necessary.
- Escalate potential issues with recommended solutions to the BD Workflow Manager and/or Director, BD Operations, Technology & Data Management.
- Ensure that BD team members are effectively and efficiently utilized.
- Identify potential risks related to capacity constraints and develop mitigation plans.
- Adapt processes and procedures in real time as needed.
- Update team playbooks regularly to reflect any changes.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to track various tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with requesters, including senior Partners.
- Proficiency in data analysis and capacity planning tools.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with team members.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across various departments and functions.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required.
The Expected Salary Range For This Position Is Between
- California Major Markets* $71,000 - $93,000
- National $69,000 - $86,000
- California Major Markets includes San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Monica. All other California locations fall within National range.
