Application Developer
Summary:
The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. This role requires strong technical skills in .NET, C#, and SQL, as well as experience with API development and COBOL or Policy Administration systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new software applications.
- Perform technical analysis and problem-solving to ensure efficient and effective development.
- Follow established development methodologies and standards.
- Design, develop, and test automation scripts.
- Design, implement, and maintain databases.
- Implement security measures to safeguard information resources.
- Test and debug software applications to identify and resolve issues.
- Recommend and implement software improvements and upgrades.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Qualifications:
- College degree in computer science, information science, or management information systems (preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of IT development experience.
- Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, and SQL.
- Experience developing and maintaining APIs.
- Aptitude for COBOL or Policy Administration systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms.
- Experience with DevOps practices.

Salary : $120,000 - $145,000
