What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PRN/PT) position at The Mood Wellness Center?
The Mood Center, LLC provides robust comprehensive behavioral health treatment services tailored to our patients specific conditions. We treat the most complicated behavioral health cases with medically supervised TMS, ketamine IV and Intramuscular injections, Spravato (Esketamine) nasal spray for sustained relief from Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal Ideation PTSD, OCD, Bipolar Depression, Postpartum Depression, Neuropathic Pain, Addiction, Chronic Pain and Migraines. All in a serene, safe and modern environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide respectful and compassionate care to all Company patients.
Conduct psychiatric assessments, ongoing medication management / monitoring and discharge assessments of patients
Assist in the coordination and integration of medical/nursing services with other client care services to ensure continuity of care for each patient.
Assist with emergency situations and make appropriate referrals as needed
Maintain the Confidential nature of all patient and facility activities.
Maintain required Training & Continuing Education as well as standards of ethical conduct.
Comply with all Policies and Procedures.
Facilitate medication education for new patients and for all other patients starting new medications
Maintain effective communication between outside providers and referents as needed
Work closely with patient care team to ensure all relevant protocols are followed
Verify that the patient has a signed Consent to Treat Form and answer any questions the patients may have about TMS or Ketamine, prior to initiation of services
Facilitate, monitor and document Ketamine, Esketamine and TMS as needed
Manage an assigned workload including documentation
Work collaboratively with all team members
Additional duties as assigned by CEO of Company
Qualifications:
1. Must have an active Maryland Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license.
2. Must have an active DEA license to prescribe medication.
3. Must be able to communicate with Company staff and patients effectively and compassionately.
4. Must be able to work between Annapolis and Columbia locations.

Pay: $153,940.00 - $162,400.00 per year
