What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Coordinator position at The Moorings Park Institute Incorporated?
Moorings Park is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and hospitality-driven Resident Coordinator to support residents throughout a renovation project. This role serves as the primary liaison between residents and project leadership, ensuring a smooth, well-communicated, and welcoming transition experience that reflects the highest standards of personalized service and care.
Contributions:
- Responsible for accurate and clear documentation of any resident needs or requests and processing of these requests as needed.
- Prepare and utilize a standardized checklist that includes all necessary steps to support residents throughout the project.
- Participates in weekly project coordination and construction meetings with campus and project leadership.
- Participates as a member of the Moorings Park owner review and acceptance team in identifying construction assessments during specified stages of completion.
- Acts as the main point of contact for resident updates, concern resolution, and questions for the duration of the project in conjunction with the Executive Director.
- Provides routine information to residents according to communication schedule including verbal, written, and presentation style.
- Follows an established communication process to notify department supervisors of project updates.
- Ensure resident satisfaction by visiting the project upon completion with the resident; resolve any complaints or concerns.
- Practice exemplary public relations and customer service with all contacts to enhance the positive image of Moorings Park.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of college or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a move-in coordinator, hospitality professional, project manager or other relevant experiences.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Strong problem solving and assessment skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with MS Office – Publisher, Excel, Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required
- During emergencies or natural disasters may be required to be on duty for the duration of the disaster.
