Job Summary:
The Moret Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.
We are looking for an individual who can work independently with minimal supervision, possess a high degree of initiative, and demonstrate a high level of accuracy even under pressure.
Forklift Operators at The Moret Group are also responsible for performing daily warehouse functions, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks, pallets, and containers
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) safely and effectively
- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits
- Assist with inventory management and control
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year or more related warehouse and/or PIT experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
