We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to support our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position is vital for the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a tidy dining area.
- Help in food preparation as needed, supporting cooks and kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping floors, taking out trash, and organizing supplies.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless workflow in the kitchen.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and food handling regulations is a plus.
