Responsibilities
- Assists the Loan Originator by meeting and guiding the client through the loan application process.
- Verifies and completes all required fields on the application documents as well as in Encompass. Secures all signatures and dates as needed.
- Obtains all documentation and support information as required by the products and loan programs.
- Provides loan disclosures that comply with federal, state, agency, and / or investor guidelines.
- Professionally interacts with applicants throughout the loan process.
- Assists the Loan Originator with seeking out and building relationships with third-party business partners in the immediate community such as real estate agents, title companies, home builders, financial planners, etc.
- Maintains current knowledge of standard loan products offered by agencies and investors, as well as trends and developments in the local real estate market.
- Provides clear, effective communications to team members.
- Assists with training loan partner staff in the department.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the management of The Mortgage Firm.
