Environmental Lab Technician
The Environmental Laboratory Technician will provide timely analysis of routine and special environmental samples in accordance with the NELAP standard and NPDES permit requirements. This position will work with the Chemist and QA Officer to identify and implement quality and efficiency improvements, while also participating in regulatory audits and assessments as necessary.
What you’ll do?
- Perform basic laboratory equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Work with lab supervisor and chemist to administer NELAP Quality program and optimize laboratory efficiency through workflow improvements and automation.
- Assist in management of laboratory data to assure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and conduct timely analysis of routine and special environmental samples and standards in accordance with strict NELAP and regulatory quality control requirements.
- Participate in internal and external regulatory audits
What you’ll need:
- High School/GED required. Associates degree preferred, major in sciences.
- 1 years of Laboratory experience, including LIMS usage
- QA/QC experience
- 1 Year of Microsoft Office Suite prefer.
