Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, and construction management. Work in conjunction with department reliability engineers.

The Maintenance Engineer provides in depth support for plant facilities mechanical or electrical systems (rotating and stationary) to increase the facility's overall reliability. Tasks relating to this job include preliminary or detailed project scoping, scheduling, cost estimating, procurement, supervision, and construction management. Work in conjunction with department reliability engineers.
What will you do?
- Support operations and maintenance refinery to improve equipment reliability by: performing detailed engineering calculations and correlate data for decision process; project management for maintenance activities; communicating the maintenance and efficiency opportunities
- Support maintenance planners, tradespersons, and supervisors with technical expertise, project management, and management of change.
- Plan and schedule maintenance projects. Complete risk-based assessments, recommending remedial actions, and organizing third party inspections and work.
- Partner with Capital to incorporate appropriate maintenance and reliability improvements for new equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, training, safety improvements.
- Work with department mechanics to provide precision centered repairs and repair plans.
- Support department Preventative Maintenance (PM) mechanics to refine routes and identify maintenance to improve and eliminate mechanical issues.
- Bachelor's degree required, major in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
- Proven communication skills both verbal and written, extremely organized, good interpersonal skills, cooperative, able to work with and lead cross-functional teams
- Word, Excel, Outlook, Maximo
- 0-2 years of co-op or internship experience
- 2 years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
- 4 years of related experience in engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management
