Are you our next Training Superintendent – Louisiana Operations

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Superintendent to lead the training and development efforts across the site. This leadership role will oversee a dedicated team, ensuring that training initiatives align with operational goals, improve workforce capabilities, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development. Leverage existing training resources and programs to ensure Louisiana is aligned with our corporate goals and strategies.

What will you do?

  • Manage and lead to deliver high-quality training programs ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate and partner with corporate teams to ensure alignment with corporate goals and strategies.
  • Identify and assess training needs; develop and enhance training plans to address these needs.
  • Design, coordinate, and implement diverse training methods, including on-the-job training, classroom sessions, e-learning, and workshops, to enhance employee skills and productivity.
  • Work closely with production, maintenance and support groups to ensure personnel training integrates seamlessly with operational activities, including safety protocols and performance goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and ROI. Provide regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the training budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support organizational priorities.
  • Implement training strategies to support employee skill progression initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry training trends and advancements to incorporate innovative methods and technologies into the training program.

What do you need for this role?

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED plus 5 years’ of relevant experience OR Associates degree in Technical, Chemical or Engineering, Organizational development discipline with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, organizational development, or a related field; advanced degree preferred with 2 years’
  • 2 years of previous Phosphates Operations experience in a supervisory position preferred
  • Proven experience in a training leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in the fertilizer or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, e-learning, simulations, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and improve training programs.
  • Deep understanding of area process and equipment preferred
  • Strong motivational, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and understand the interrelations within an industrial facility
  • Process improvement skills and the ability to teach and coach others preferred
