You will leverage your understanding of RV repair and maintenance to provide accurate recommendations and facilitate seamless communication between customers and service technicians.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services, repairs, and maintenance options available.
- Write service orders accurately, documenting customer concerns and recommended services.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Manage customer expectations regarding service timelines and costs.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all customer information is handled confidentially.
- Stay updated on RV technologies, trends, and best practices in the industry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in RV service writing or a similar role within a dealership or repair shop is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of chassis and house repairs and maintenance
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell additional services when appropriate.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
- Experience in auto service management is a plus but not required.
