Summary
The Senior Project Manager, Producer supports the mission of The Museum of Flight by managing complex projects from planning through delivery. They work with project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, changes, and plans are communicated, executed, and completed. As a key driver for Museum-wide projects on behalf of the Marketing and Visitor Experience department and other areas, the Senior Project Manager, Producer plans and facilitates project meetings, aligns the team to methods and goals, tracks project tasks, and ensures that project teams complete projects on time, within budget, for identified and approved scope, and with agreed-upon quality standards.

- Lead and manage scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, risk, and procurement for assigned project(s). Use appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. Allocate resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjust allocations when necessary.
- Identify unique requirements of each project and ensure needs are met; develop and manage project scope including review of cost estimates and specifications for both short- and long-term project needs; work with leadership on scope development, deliverables tracking and approval, status communications, and identification of possible funding sources.
- Communicate project expectations, scope, goals, responsibilities, and progress to project team, stakeholders, and other internal and external audiences. Ensure requirements, agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries are clearly documented, prepared, and distributed.
- Develop, distribute, and present reports related to project activities, general project management (project health, risks, issues, decisions, etc.), and financial updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, sponsors, team, and external parties to determine priorities and scope of project(s) and define expected goals and outcomes based on established priorities.
- Effectively manage, properly escalate, as well as drive resolutions for conflicts and issues as they arise.
- Search for opportunities for process improvement related to internal practices and procedures concerning project management and portfolio.
- Monitor task completion status to identify at-risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans prioritize, and drive resolution of all issues associated with assigned projects.
- Set and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
- Establishes project success criteria.
- Work closely with team leaders to affect the successful planning and coordination of ongoing activities between groups.
- Manage and track vendor invoices and provide contract support and input for vendors.
- Plans and leads status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Paid-Time Off
Our paid time-off plans include 2 weeks of accrued sick leave and 2 weeks of vacation (80 hours each) per year, 10 paid holidays, and 2 floating holidays.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $88,000 - $133,000 depending on experience.
