Tumbling/Acro Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a love for educating others in various disciplines such as dance, acro, and tumbling. This role involves working with individuals of all ages/levels, fostering their skills, confidence, and enthusiasm for physical activities. The Instructor will create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and growth.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans per level/age group.
• Instruct and teach performance choreography for upcoming show.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and respect among students.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are safe and ready for use.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding student behaviors, concerns, and compliments.

Skills

• Proficiency in teaching and spotting tumbling skills to different ages and levels is required.
• Experience in teaching children in this area is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development principles related to physical education and childcare is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students while maintaining a disciplined approach to instruction.
• Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, schedules, and student assessments effectively.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
