Responsibilities:
- Educate and engage students in various foundational music skills
- Familiar with multiple genres
- Develop and implement lesson plans that develop students and tie in material the school is covering
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Monitor student progress, celebrating wins as a group, and adjust teaching when necessary
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall learning experience
Ideal Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Proficiency in two or more of the following areas: drums, bass, guitar, voice, piano
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Background in tutoring or preschool education is a plus
