Job Overview
The My Place hotel, King George Virginia is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor for 64 Room hotel. Individual must have an open availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Prior Housekeeping experience is required. Prior Supervisor/Manager experience is required.
Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees all housekeeping operations and team members, and is responsible for ensuring labor and quality standards are upheld. They assist with establishing a positive work environment, delivering exceptional guest service and administering policies and procedures established by the company and the hotel brand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees all housekeeing team members and daily operations
- Ensures all guests are provided superior room and public area cleanliness
- Ensure hotel is in compliance with all My Place housekeeping brand standards
- Respond to and resolve all guest's issues relating to cleanliness
- Responsible for maintaining high cleanliness scores
- Performs daily guest room and public area cleaning
- Monitors and oversees department budget including product inventories and orders
- Ensures the compliance of health and safety standards
- Participate in recruiting and training of all housekeeping employees
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and monthly department meetings
- Ensures department reporting is completed promptly and accurately
- Maintains knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform any position in the department
- perform mothly guestroom deepcleaning and mattress flip
- Maintains accurate lost and found log and upholds related policies and procedures
- Handles chemicals and cleaning supplies with care and in accordance to standards
- Operates commercial laundry and cleaning equipment
- Perform daily inspections of guestrooms and common areas
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
- Perform laundry duties as needed
