This role will work closely with executive leadership and operations to align HR strategy with business goals, while also driving organizational design, succession planning, and key performance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and HR business partner to senior leaders, providing expertise on organizational effectiveness, talent planning, and employee engagement.
- Lead HR strategy development and execution for assigned departments and business units.
- Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and employment laws.
- Partner with staffing and talent acquisition to ensure strong hiring and retention strategies.
- Drive leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential talent identification.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal HR teams (Comp, Benefits, OD, Talent, etc.) to support organizational initiatives.
- Lead reorganization efforts including workforce planning, communication strategies, and talent gap analyses.
- Oversee performance management, merit review, and compensation cycles for supported groups.
- Supervise and mentor HRBP staff and support teams, fostering continuous development.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field required; Master’s preferred.
- 7 years of progressive HR experience, including direct business partner support to leadership.
- Experience in large, matrixed organizations strongly preferred.
- Experience within healthcare, life sciences, or unionized environments is a plus.
- SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification is a bonus.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through organizational change.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with executive presence and strategic agility.
