About The Role
The successful candidate will handle a diverse litigation caseload, including:
- Business and commercial litigation
- Insurance defense
- Medical malpractice
- Probate litigation
- Domestic relations
- Construction litigation
- Employment law disputes
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and pleadings
- Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic recommendations
- Draft and respond to discovery requests
- Take and defend depositions
- Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, motion hearings, and trials
- Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm to develop case strategies
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active New Hampshire Bar License (or ability to obtain)
- 4 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
