As a Nail Technician, you will provide high-quality nail care services, ensuring client satisfaction while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and techniques to provide clients with innovative options.
- Educate clients on proper nail care and recommend products for home maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance the client experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the salon.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of color theory and application techniques.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred, with an emphasis on upselling services and products.
- Familiarity with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, barbering, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
