Full-time Nanny Position Location: Tuckahoe, NY Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:30am/9:00am to 5:00pm Child: 1-year-old Pay: $27 to $30hr Benefits: guaranteed hours per week, overtime, paid vacation, paid holidays and sick/personal days Duties & Responsibilities Encourage learning and development through reading, sensory play, music, and outdoor time Engage in age-appropriate activities (fine/gross motor skill activities) Maintain the child’s daily routine, including feeding, naps and diaper changes Assist with potty training when appropriate, and ensure general cleanliness Tidy play areas, clean up after meals, and handle child-related laundry Support small child-related chores (e.g., restocking diapers, washing bottles) Take the child on walks, park visits, and local activities, sometimes accompanied by parents or mother-in-law Provide updates on the child’s meals, naps, milestones, and overall well-being Modify play, learning activities, and nutrition as the child grows, ensuring support for new skills like walking, talking, and independent eating Requirements Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Minimum of 3 years of paid nanny experience with infants & toddlers CPR & First Aid certified Willing to commit long-term Lives within 30 minutes of Tuckahoe, NY Up-to-date with Tdap, COVID-19, and flu vaccinations Non-smoker Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record Background in early childhood education or daycare experience a plus but not required
