Job description: Part-time and live-out Start date: May (flexible start date) Location: Watchung, New Jersey Employment contract: Long term contract Working days: Monday to Friday Child: 3-year-old Working hours: 2/3pm to 7/8pm Salary: $30hr Benefits: 20 hours guaranteed per week, paid vacation, paid holidays and sick/personal days, mileage reimbursement Candidate duties and responsibilities Providing attentive, engaging care for a bright and active 3-year-old Driving the child to and from school, classes, or local activities Preparing and serving meals and snacks for the child Creating a fun and structured daily routine with age-appropriate activities (indoor and outdoor play, reading, arts & crafts, etc.) Supporting transitions such as potty training, independent play, or nap time Occasionally assisting with care for a newborn (bottle prep, soothing, diaper changes, and supervision while parents attend to other needs) Maintaining a clean and tidy environment related to the children (toys, dishes, play areas, etc.) Communicating regularly with parents about routines, milestones, and daily updates Requirements Be up to date with Covid, Tdap and Flu shots Legally authorized to work in the U.S. A minimum of 3 years of paid nanny experience working with newborns and toddlers CPR & First Aid Certified Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation Fluent in english Willing to commit long-term Should live within 30 minutes of Watchung, NJ
