Dedicated Childcare and Household Coordinator in Davidson, NC for three year old girl

The Nanny Haven is assisting a professional and organized family in Davidson, NC find a loving nanny to care for their smart and active 3 year old girl. The position will start on May 5, 2025.

The family will guarantee 40 hours per week during summer when their child is home from school (Mid May - Mid August plus school holidays) and the rate will be $28-$35 - based on experience. From mid August to Mid May, when their daughter is in pre-school, the family will guarantee 30 hours per week. 6:30am-9:30am and 2:30-5:30pm, M-F. During these months, the duties will include some household management tasks: Errands, grocery pickup, making lunch for parents a couple days a week and parent's laundry. Dinner prep for parents and child will be needed a few days per week.

The family wants the Candidate to be loving, dependable, flexible, organized, and enjoy to cook with their daughter. In addition, the candidate will love being outdoors, taking their daughter to playgrounds, playdates with other kids/nannies, enjoy singing, dancing, reading and painting together. Lastly, the candidate will be very patient and compassionate to work through emotions and explain the daily schedule to their daughter.

Please note: There will be no last minute sick days for this position. The candidate will receive 15 days PTO, but will not be able to call in sick the day of a scheduled shift, due to the parent's work schedules.

Family has one 14 year old cocker spaniel. No care will be needed, but must be comfortable around a dog.

The family will provide a nanny vehicle to use during work hours.

Duties including but not limited to:

• Light Household Cleaning
• Meal prep for children and family
• Packing lunches during school months
• Family Laundry (while child is at school)
• Children Laundry
• Loading and unloading dishwasher
• Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment.
• Collaboration with parents
• Pick ups and drop offs at school during school months
• Taking children to activities: parks, story times, play dates, etc.

• Reading, Painting etc.
• Creating a stimulating and fun environment for the child to grow, learn and thrive
• Making lunch for their parents (while in pre-school)
• Running errands ie: grocery pickups/package returns

Requirements:

• 3 years of professional, full-time nanny experience
• Valid driver’s license
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Be legally permitted to work in the United States
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be able to pass a government background check
