What are the responsibilities and job description for the BILLINGS, MT FAMILY SEEKING PART-TIME NANNY!! position at The Nanny League, Inc.?
Overview:
This position offers 25-40 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling. The nanny will be responsible for creating a structured, engaging environment. The last 10 days of the month, when the family travels to Malibu, the nanny will have this time off (unpaid). While the family currently resides in Billings, MT, they are planning to relocate to Bozeman, MT and would prefer a candidate local to the area. However, they are open to supporting relocation for the right candidate, though live-in accommodations are not available.
The family’s daughters are high-energy and active, requiring a nanny who can keep up with them and positively direct their energy. The nanny should be physically active and enjoy outdoor activities year-round, from summer hikes to winter sports. Additionally, the family values a mindful, emotionally intelligent approach to discipline, following a philosophy similar to Dr. Becky Kennedy’s parenting style. If the nanny has experience with yoga, mindfulness, or calming techniques, that would be a huge plus.
This role also involves acting as a Lead Nanny, overseeing and mentoring a younger, less-experienced nanny to ensure consistency in care. The family is looking for someone who can take the burden of planning creative activities off of mom’s shoulders, suggesting engaging ideas, scheduling activities, and even researching camps and enrichment programs. Other responsibilities include light household duties related to the children, such as meal prep, cleaning up after activities, and maintaining an organized play environment.
The position offers $35/hr gross for candidates with relevant expertise, with roughly 3 full working weeks and 10 days off (unpaid). This is an exciting opportunity for a structured, creative, and energetic nanny who loves teaching, organizing, and embracing an active lifestyle. Start date is ASAP.
